The 4th annual McLean 5K Run with the Warriors will be October 3, 2015.  All proceeds from the McLean 5K Run with the Warriors will be used for the Wounded Warrior Transitional Housing at Vinson Hall. In 2012, Navy Marine Coast Guard Residence Foundation merged their Run With the Warriors 5K, with co-host CENTURY 21’s  McLean 5K to become the McLean 5K Run with the Warriors.

Since 2003, thousands of young men and women have been wounded in the line of duty. After discharge from inpatient treatment at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, they continue on active duty while going through a very thorough evaluation period.  At this point in their recovery, many wounded warriors seek housing which is suited to their rehabilitation needs.

NMCGRF is investing in our wounded warriors by providing handicapped accessible apartments that are designed to support them through their transitional period in a wonderful McLean, Virginia location.

Parking– first come, first served in the Balducci’s McLean Square parking lot. Additional street parking available.

Run:    starts at  8:00 am

Packet Pick-up starts Friday, October 2 from  8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. at the Old Firehouse Teen Center. 1440 Chain Bridge Rd, McLean, VA 22101. Day of packet pick-up begins at 6:45 a.m. on October 3 upstairs at Century 21’s McLean Office. 6631 Old Dominion Drive, McLean, VA 22101. To avoid lines, we recommend coming on October 2.

Packet pick-up includes your bib and Under Armour shirt. Only those registered before the deadline are guaranteed a shirt.
