The mission of Herndon-Reston FISH, Inc., is to help the poor or otherwise distressed persons who need to request such help and specifically for those who cannot access help through government or social welfare agencies.

Volunteers assist with the Bargain Loft in Herndon and assist with lifting, carrying, and arranging donated items in the shop. Youth are also needed to help at the FISH booths during the Herndon and Reston Festivals.

Training: Dependent on job

Minimum Age: 12

Minimum Age w/Adult: 9

Maximum of 10 may help during the holiday basket program, or festivals. Must call ahead for more details.

Volunteers can donate one hour or more a month or even work seasonally during the winter holidays or summer holidays.
